Rony Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Zanette in the 3rd minute of play. Christian Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio de Barros in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in OvoNegro's zone, Basílio de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Bittencourt came out of the goal and Basílio de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Tobiaras SS got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Quintal. Basílio de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christian Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Basílio de Barros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Bittencourt, 1-1. When Gerson Correia came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the OvoNegro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Correia couldn't finish the play. Nuno Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Oséias Zanette notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tobiaras SS's Rony Macedo. Rony Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséias Zanette made a kick off. After 53 played minutes OvoNegro got a freekick which was hit by Vito Mandrak. Valdir Pombal might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Pombal ran back to his position shaking his head. If Oséias Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Zanette in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Gerson Correia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Oséias Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Christian Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Basílio de Barros notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of OvoNegro's Christian Bittencourt. Christian Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio de Barros in the 86th minute of play. Gerson Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Otávio Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobiaras SS's Aníbal dos Santos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for OvoNegro. Ricardo Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
