The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauã Quaresma during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mazinho Fonseca made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 10thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Murilo Marinho would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Murilo Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, João Augusto Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Hugo Txartiko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mazinho Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Murilo Marinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Camanducaia's goalkeeper Murilo Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Fonseca. Duarte Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Hugo Txartiko made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Camanducaia's Murilo Marinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Piratas FC's Tomé Vides shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Murilo Marinho but with some difficulty. João Carlos de Moraes lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Camanducaia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piratas FC:s goal. Mazinho Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Murilo Marinho made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Mazinho Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas FC's zone, João Augusto Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José de Toledo came out of the goal and João Augusto Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. José de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Quaresma in the 59th minute of play. When Duarte Soares came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Camanducaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Soares couldn't finish the play. Mazinho Fonseca scored 6-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murilo Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hugo Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Murilo Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Fonseca in the 79th minute of play forced Camanducaia's goalkeeper Murilo Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazinho Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camanducaia's Murilo Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Fonseca in the 83rd minute of play. Duarte Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Caco Paes got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 96th minute, João Augusto Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piratas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
