Ronaldinho Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Ernesto Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Saldanha. Abreus EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 12 played minutes Baracari got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ferreira. Matheus Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Peres in the 17th minute of play forced Abreus EC's goalkeeper Nicolas Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abreus EC's Nicolas Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Peres in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Abreus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Peres came free, but Nicolas Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Cauã Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernesto Peres scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denílson de Castro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ernesto Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Valladares in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Gustavo Valladares put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Saldanha. After the first half Baracari were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Valladares to make the kick off. With a little luck, Abreus EC's Nicolas Saldanha got control of the ball when Gustavo Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Valladares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nicolas Saldanha made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Abreus EC's Cauã Luz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With his leg Nicolas Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Baracari's Gustavo Valladares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustavo Valladares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Nicolas Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nicolas Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Valladares went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Matheus Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ernesto Peres came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Baracari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Peres couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes, Rodolfo Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abreus EC and the Baracari players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas Saldanha was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Ernesto Peres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Peres really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. After 98 minutes, Diego Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baracari and the Abreus EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Abreus EC's Rodolfo Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baracari played a much better game than Abreus EC and deserved their victory. The Abreus EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
