Hílton Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Linhares in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Linhares lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Hílton Matos. Alessandro Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Os mostros porongaos's Alessandro Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ian Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico de Sousa in the 28th minute of play. Matheus Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hílton Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélio Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nicolas Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Nico de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alessandro Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Os mostros porongaos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Marinho couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, Abreus EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Luz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nico de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Saldanha was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. A collision led to Abreus EC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Anselmo Vides hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ronaldinho Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Hílton Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nicolas Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nico de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Os mostros porongaos's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hílton Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Hoffmann in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Nico de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Os mostros porongaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute of the match Anselmo Vides shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hílton Matos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Os mostros porongaos's Hílton Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Hoffmann in the 74th minute of play. Nico de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Hoffmann in the 79th minute of play forced Os mostros porongaos's goalkeeper Hílton Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Os mostros porongaos's Nico de Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Hoffmann in the 84th minute of play forced Os mostros porongaos's goalkeeper Hílton Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hílton Matos came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Abreus EC's Ronaldinho Linhares. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 96thth minute of the game Rui Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Os mostros porongaos's Hílton Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
