Carlos Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Umberto Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Papagaio's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Secco came free, but Elivélton Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elivélton Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Salgado in the 26th minute of play. Rubinho Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Elivélton Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Rubinho Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Papagaio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Elivélton Nunes came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by PontoDaCópia's Wesley Nogueira. But to his dismay, Wesley Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of PontoDaCópia booed when Papagaio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivélton Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Nogueira in the 44th minute of play. Rubinho Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elivélton Nunes having to make a save.

The wind increased when Rubinho Barreto made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Carlos Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papagaio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carlos Sena came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Papagaio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Sena couldn't finish the play. Elivélton Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Wesley Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PontoDaCópia booed when Papagaio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when PontoDaCópia's Rubinho Barreto in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Elivélton Nunes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Papagaio through an amazing save. After a defensive mix-up in Papagaio's zone, Rubinho Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Nunes came out of the goal and Rubinho Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubinho Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, PontoDaCópia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Sena in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Frank Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
