The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Neto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Littles booed when Guayanas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Littles got a freekick which was hit by Beto Paiva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Pontes in the 5th minute of play forced Littles's goalkeeper Mané Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Fernandinho Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayanas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernandinho Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Batista having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guayanas SC's Fernandinho Meireles got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nilmar Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Sarmento having to make a save. Nilmar Velasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 22 minutes into the game, Samuel Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayanas SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Littles the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Samuel Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fellipe Batista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Tostão Sarmento skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Littles's Fellipe Batista was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nilmar Velascos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Tostão Sarmento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Littles's Fellipe Batista got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Fernandinho Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Fernandinho Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Queirós to make the kick off. Tostão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Queirós in the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Littles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Littles made a substitution. Zbyszko Filanowski replaced Nilton Matos. A collision led to Littles getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Frank Queirós hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Guayanas SC's Fernandinho Meireles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Fernandinho Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. When Fernandinho Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Guayanas SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Meireles couldn't finish the play. Fellipe Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tostão Sarmento came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Littles's João Pedro Ferreira. But to his dismay, João Pedro Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Littles fully deserved thier win.
