A collision led to Curuca SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dedê Berger hit a great ball. Curuca SC's Belmiro Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Marques in the 8th minute of play. Natanael Xaviers short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Régis Vander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th minute Otávio Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Curuca SC's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Dante came free, but Belmiro Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Diego Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Otávio Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muriti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curuca SC the free kick. Diego Breckenfeld who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Régis Vander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Breckenfeld in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Régis Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Muriti's Régis Vander got control of the ball when Diego Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Marques in the 46th minute of play forced Curuca SC's goalkeeper Belmiro Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário Marques to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Diego Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muriti's Régis Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natanael Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Natanael Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Belmiro Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Dante in the 65th minute. Régis Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Breckenfeld in the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Diego Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Régis Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Breckenfeld in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Vander saved Muriti from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Muriti's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Breckenfeld came free, but Régis Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Muriti's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Xavier came free, but Régis Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curuca SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
