An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Jacinto in the 20th minute of play forced Inajaroba's goalkeeper Hugo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ismael Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Nando Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inajaroba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Terra in the 37th minute of play. Nando Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Inajaroba's zone, Baltazar Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Gonçalves came out of the goal and Baltazar Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The UAI UAI Atletico Mineiro fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when UAI UAI Atletico Mineiro's Baltazar Zonta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hugo Gonçalves was a little too slow when Baltazar Zonta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. A collision led to Inajaroba getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Frank Loyola hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Inajaroba's zone, André Luiz Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Gonçalves came out of the goal and André Luiz Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Zonta in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 82 minutes, Baltazar Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UAI UAI Atletico Mineiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Benjamin Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that André Luiz Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Gonçalves was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. A collision led to UAI UAI Atletico Mineiro getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fellipe Fernandes hit a great ball. Ismael Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gonçalves having to interfere.
