After some careless play in the Desengano Fut Club defense, Belchior Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Viana. The Desengano Fut Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Viana should have stopped the shot. Rubinho Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desengano Fut Club's Romário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Pernambucano in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Barragem EC's Josué Coelho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romário Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Rubinho Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mauro Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Aguiar got free with Mauro Dias in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Desengano Fut Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Lima came free, but Romário Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Barragem EC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubinho Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Evandro Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Aguiar in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rubinho Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barragem EC's zone, Rubinho Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Dias came out of the goal and Rubinho Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Desengano Fut Club's Rubinho Barros in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barragem EC's goalie prevented a goal. Rubinho Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desengano Fut Club were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
