Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frédson Leme started the match with the kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Gino Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moreira FC's Dorian Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Cido Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanceiro FC the free kick. A collision led to Moreira FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cido Sergipano hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Vágner Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanceiro FC the free kick. Vágner Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Romário de Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Neiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Moreira FC's goalkeeper Dorian Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Romário de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanceiro FC's protests and gave Romário de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Lanceiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho Simões took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luizão da Silveira. Lanceiro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Frédson Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moreira FC's Frédson Leme in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lanceiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 minutes, Cauan Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanceiro FC and the Moreira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lanceiro FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cauan Abraão hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Leme in the 37th minute of play forced Lanceiro FC's goalkeeper Luizão da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Rafinha Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lanceiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tiago Gabriel Mendonça fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Tiago Gabriel Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafinha Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Gino Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dorian Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tiago Gabriel Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moreira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Gabriel Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizão da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lanceiro FC's Franklin Zilles got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Lanceiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Leme came free, but Luizão da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Neiva came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanceiro FC's Gino Lima. But to his dismay, Gino Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 71st minute of the match, Gino Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dorian Neiva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dorian Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Moraes in the 78th minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Luizão da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moreira FC defense, Rafinha Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian Neiva. The Moreira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Neiva should have stopped the shot. Frédson Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Luizão da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moreira FC's Tiago Gabriel Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Lanceiro FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Moreira FC had held the ball for most of the match.
