The supporters of Umorama FC booed when E. C. Chutetso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Armandinho Furtado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel da Costa skillfully saved the ball. Marcel da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Prata in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Olavo Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel da Costa was relentless in the 40th minute of the game.
