Marcel da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Braga in the 13th minute of play. Aírton Fontes took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Neves. Igor Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Manoel de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dadá Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Fúria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel da Costa having to interfere. In the 48th minute Aírton Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aírton Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. Dadá Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dadá Lopes struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marcel da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fúria. Igor Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rômulo Nóbrega in the 60th minute. Dadá Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Neves was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Aírton Fontes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aírton Fontes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. A collision led to Fúria getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Adelino Braga hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Dadá Lopes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of E. C. Chutetso's Marcel da Costa. Marcel da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aírton Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aírton Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Fúria a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felipe Dante, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of E. C. Chutetso's Marcel da Costa. 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of E. C. Chutetso were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fúria side.
