But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Zilles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Antônio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Gottwald in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Rodriguinho Zilles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parnamirim EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Antônio Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Czisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Emanuel Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Gottwald in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Gottwald was the one to do the kick off. In the 77th minute, Fritz Gottwald made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Perez. Tariana SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. A collision led to Parnamirim EC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rodriguinho Zilles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tariana SS's Tadeo Elizardo got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, João Paulo Loyola sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Antônio Perez threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for João Paulo Loyola this time. The Parnamirim EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
