In the 7th minute, Cássio Araújo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nelson Campidelis, passed just outside the right post. If Roldanillo Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valinhos FC's Cássio Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roldanillo Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Nelson Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valinhos FC. The audience was convinced that Cássio Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Campidelis was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Valinhos FC's Roldanillo Gonzales got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valinhos FC's Cássio Araújo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cássio Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roldanillo Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 34 in the game by Cássio Araújo from a close distance when the talented Nelson Campidelis managed to make a qualified save. CD Catalunya's players were relieved. 36 minutes into the match, Valinhos FC's Cássio Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelson Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Araújo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Campidelis saved CD Catalunya from getting behind. Roldanillo Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Campidelis having to interfere. With a little luck, CD Catalunya's Nelson Campidelis got control of the ball when Cássio Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Roldanillo Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Nelson Campidelis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

吕适超 made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when William Furlan sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Cássio Araújo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nelson Campidelis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldanillo Gonzales in the 67th minute of play forced CD Catalunya's goalkeeper Nelson Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cássio Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Campidelis was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Roldanillo Gonzales took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Campidelis. Nelson Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 75 minutes of play, Valinhos FC's Roldanillo Gonzales made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 83rdth minute of the game Cássio Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Catalunya's Nelson Campidelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Enrique Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Campidelis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roldanillo Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Campidelis having to interfere. The goalkeeper, 吕适超, was totally fooled by CD Catalunya's Dudu Neiva, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cássio Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Valinhos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
