The audience was convinced that Hugo de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Valladares was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Vítor Proença's late challenge caught a Muricizinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 34th minute Cléber Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hugo de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Muricizinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo de Amaral couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Cléber Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.C Sobradinho's Jacinto Fantini got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Muricizinho's Orlando Rossi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cléber Rossi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, S.C Sobradinho's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Rossi came free, but Mauro Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.C Sobradinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muricizinho's Iuri Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Brodel in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Cléber Rossi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of S.C Sobradinho's Mauro Valladares. Mauro Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christiano Andrade hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo de Amaral got free with Mauro Valladares in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Muricizinho's Mauro Valladares threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cléber Rossi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cléber Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Valladares having to make a save.
