Benjamin Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Cordeiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Jaguara AD's goalkeeper Ronaldinho da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benjamin Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mashoutsukai Sport Klub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualter da Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaguara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benê Tasso came free in the 67th minute and tried to tip the ball over José Coutinho, but to the joy of Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The Mashoutsukai Sport Klub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Coutinho should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho da Silva was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ciro Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciro Peres had several of the Jaguara AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Ronaldinho da Silva as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
