After 12 played minutes Jacaqua SS got a freekick which was hit by Igor Cerezo. The supporters of Jacaqua SS booed when macauba fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Jacaqua SS's Andrézinho Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind macauba fc's goalkeeper Oscar Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Igor Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacaqua SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in macauba fc's zone, Igor Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Lima came out of the goal and Igor Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Natanael Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Cerezo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Natanael Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacaqua SS's Tibúrcio Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The macauba fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jacaqua SS were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Tibúrcio Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Jacaqua SS:s Albertinho Gomes showed great skill when he stopped Rafa Vergílio:s penalty. Gilvan Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Albertinho Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Jacaqua SS's Igor Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, macauba fc's Oscar Lima got control of the ball when Igor Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibúrcio Freitas in the 68th minute of the match. Igor Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Igor Cerezo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Lima. Oscar Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After having played for 79 minutes, Igor Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacaqua SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in macauba fc's zone, Tibúrcio Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Lima came out of the goal and Tibúrcio Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibúrcio Freitas in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Lima saved macauba fc from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Jacaqua SS's Natanael Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Oscar Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacaqua SS. When Tibúrcio Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Jacaqua SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibúrcio Freitas couldn't finish the play. Tibúrcio Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute Igor Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
