Spectators: 6826 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Garcia started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Gavino Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Vlassis Asimatos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the JNBK Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlassis Asimatos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gavino Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. JNBK Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Vitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 11 in the game by Vlassis Asimatos from a close distance when the talented Guga Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Novolina's players were relieved. In the last second Guga Barbosa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gavino Vitin in the 13thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Vlassis Asimatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Vitin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of JNBK Esporte Clube booed when Novolina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Barbosa having to interfere. If Gavino Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlassis Asimatos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Guga Barbosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Gavino Vitin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guga Barbosa. Gavino Vitin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Vitin in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Barbosa saved Novolina from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Vitin made a kick off. After 53rd play minutes Gavino Vitin shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Guga Barbosa and just under the crossbar into goal. Gavino Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Barbosa having to interfere. Vlassis Asimatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Barbosa having to interfere. If Vlassis Asimatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Novolina's goal looked a bit too open when Vlassis Asimatos came free, but Guga Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Vitin in the 65th minute of play. Nico de Carvalho hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Miklós Kocsis came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the JNBK Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Kocsis couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Dagoberto Perez put in a rough tackle. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JNBK Esporte Clube! The goalkeeper, Custódio Mangueira, was totally fooled by Novolina's Nico de Carvalho, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 85th minute, Vlassis Asimatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Novolina getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jorge Garcia hit a great ball. Lenílson de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guga Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlassis Asimatos in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Novolina got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Garcia.
