In the 12thth minute of the game Lucas de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caapiranga SC's Alan Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alan Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas de Sousa scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alan Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademir Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Lucas de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubro Oeste MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas de Sousa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alan Senna. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. If Ademir Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Ribeiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ademir Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tostão da Cunha was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rubro Oeste MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão da Cunha came free, but Roger Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubro Oeste MZ's Ademir Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Edmílson Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Roger Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas de Sousa in the 63rd minute of play forced Caapiranga SC's goalkeeper Alan Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alan Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas de Sousa in the 70th minute of the match. If Ademir Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas de Sousa in the 73rd minute of play. Rubro Oeste MZ's attack was well implemented in the 75th minute, but when Ademir Rodrigues was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 77th minute, Lucas de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rubro Oeste MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Ademir Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute.
