After 7 minutes of play, Espinhal's Ismael Tróia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Perivaldo Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio de Carvalho in the 11th minute of the match. Vitinho Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado de Amorim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Baltazar Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soul Calibur F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espinhal's Conrado de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Espinhal from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Soul Calibur F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Erramu. Soul Calibur F.C.'s Vitinho Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Espinhal getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gino Luz hit a great ball. Perivaldo Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio de Carvalho in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Vitinho Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espinhal's Conrado de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Soul Calibur F.C. booed when Espinhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vitinho Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Espinhal's Conrado de Amorim got control of the ball when Vitinho Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gino Luz to make the kick off. After 57 played minutes, Soul Calibur F.C.'s Régis Borges shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conrado de Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soul Calibur F.C. reached it. When Cafu Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinhal's protests and gave Cafu Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. Perivaldo Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vitinho Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado de Amorim having to make a save. Perivaldo Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Luz in the 68th minute of the match. Vitinho Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado de Amorim having to interfere. Victor Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Tepedino having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Soul Calibur F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
