Acácio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Caio Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sombreiro E.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Antônio Carneiro hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes, Espinhal's Alfredão Valladares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caio Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espinhal reached it. Alfredão Sousa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Conrado de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sombreiro E.C. Rafael Lago hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Dé Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Dé Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sombreiro E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Rossi couldn't finish the play. Conrado de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Dé Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Espinhal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
