Stig Harman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zézinho Paiva having to make a save. After 35 minutes of play, Belém Boys's Pedrinho Moreira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zézinho Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vito Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Paiva having to interfere. The supporters of Belém Boys booed when Korff FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Stig Harman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zézinho Paiva was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vito Pitta made the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Paiva was a little too slow when Stig Harman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-5. 57 minutes into the game, Vito Pitta lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Zézinho Paiva. Vitório Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Zézinho Paiva made a huge save. If Vito Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Pitta struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Zézinho Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belém Boys. Thanks to some nice moves Vitório Botelho could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Zézinho Paiva however easily saved by the left post. Korff FC's Zézinho Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo de Azevedo in the 80th minute of play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Vito Pitta from a close distance when the talented Zézinho Paiva managed to make a qualified save. Korff FC's players were relieved. Zézinho Paiva had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Stig Harman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Belém Boys's Rômulo Lago suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 84 minutes into the game, Téo Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korff FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belém Boys the free kick. Belém Boys's Maurinho Ramos was substituted for Rômulo Lago. Belém Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
