Flavinho Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Desportiva Ubaense's Jorginho Trigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Donato. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Edson da Fonseca took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for André Donato to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the game, Túlio de Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Donato. Túlio de Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Haroldo Melo could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which André Donato however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Melo got free with André Donato in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Túlio de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perico's André Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Perico from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Perico getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jorginho Cabral hit a great ball. Desportiva Ubaense's Jorginho Trigo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Perico. Perico's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcelinho Porto 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. If Túlio de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perico's André Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Perico from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the game, Zula Soliwoda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desportiva Ubaense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Desportiva Ubaense's Zula Soliwoda got a free kick in the 41st minute. Desportiva Ubaense's Claudinei Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Alcântara in the 42nd minute of play. Claudinei Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ubaense's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Peixoto came free, but Claudinei Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Túlio de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Túlio de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinei Peixoto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 54 minutes into the game, Túlio de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. André Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Desportiva Ubaense's Claudinei Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Peixoto in the 59th minute of play. André Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio de Amorim in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Túlio de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. André Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ubaense's goalkeeper Claudinei Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Alcântara. After 68 minutes of play Desportiva Ubaense's Túlio de Amorim was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 70 played minutes Desportiva Ubaense got a freekick which was hit by Túlio de Amorim. Claudinei Peixoto's late challenge caught a Desportiva Ubaense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. Hernani Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Claudinei Brodel made a huge save. When Décio Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Perico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Décio Travassos couldn't finish the play. Décio Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Décio Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Claudinei Brodel made a huge save. Jorginho Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernani Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Claudinei Brodel made a huge save. Desportiva Ubaense were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Perico for a fine match.
