Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Acácio Nogueira kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro in the 3rd minute of play forced Galhao's goalkeeper Osmar Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Acácio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manoel Lopes's late challenge caught a Galhao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Trimonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Osmar Toledo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trimonte FC's Anísio Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir de Brito in the 18th minute of play. Osmar Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro in the 21st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trimonte FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osmar Toledo having to make a save. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro sped through Galhao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osmar Toledo. Trimonte FC's Basílio Luz pulled a muscle in his leg after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 42 minutes, Fernandão Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galhao and the Trimonte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Francisco Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Osmar Toledo. Galhao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Frank Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trimonte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anísio Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Galhao's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Marquez came free, but Osmar Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trimonte FC's Anísio Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Trimonte FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Lauro Queirós had to leave the field with a concussion. Manoel Lopes was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Trimonte FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Manoel Lopes hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Frank Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmar Toledo. Galhao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Osmar Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Osmar Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Galhao's zone, Frank Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Toledo came out of the goal and Frank Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Osmar Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Galhao getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Waldir de Brito hit a great ball. If Diogo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trimonte FC fully deserved thier win.
