The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lino Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Coutinho in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes of play, Pequy EC's Davi Coutinho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a little luck, Pequy EC's Amílcar Aguiar got control of the ball when Doni Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 minutes, Pedrinho do Valle made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Loredo's Lino Proença tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luiz Peixoto went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pequy EC booed when Loredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Loredo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Doni Novaes hit a great ball. A hard shot 40 in the game by Doni Novaes from a close distance when the talented Amílcar Aguiar managed to make a qualified save. Pequy EC's players were relieved. Lino Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luiz Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Peixoto in the 45th minute of play forced Loredo's goalkeeper Lino Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Lira was the one to do the kick off. André Luiz Peixoto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 72nd minute, Pequy EC's André Luiz Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lino Proença. Lino Proença yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. With a little luck, Loredo's Lino Proença got control of the ball when Davi Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 played minutes Pequy EC got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Guerra. In the 81st match minute, Pequy EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Cássio Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Pequy EC got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Smefeldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Novaes in the 90th minute of play forced Pequy EC's goalkeeper Amílcar Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pequy EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
