Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Gláuber Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório de Medeiros in the 3rd minute of play. António Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gláuber Alves made a huge save. In the 14th minute, one of Kronos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kronos. The goalkeeper, Gláuber Alves, was totally fooled by Mororo's Vitório de Medeiros, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With an all-out effort, Mororo's Gláuber Alves threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitório de Medeiros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute, Edinho Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kronos's Gláuber Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Kronos from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Cido do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kronos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mororo the free kick. Cido do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório de Medeiros in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gláuber Alves saved Kronos from getting behind. Cido do Vale hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Vitório de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kronos's Nilmar Campidelis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kronos's Gláuber Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório de Medeiros in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório de Medeiros in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gláuber Alves saved Kronos from getting behind. If Vitório de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mororo's António Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitório de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Vitório de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gláuber Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Vitório de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vitório de Medeiros got free in front of the goal in the 64th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gláuber Alves was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gláuber Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Lopes in the 67th minute of play. Kronos's attentive Haroldo Quaresma managed to snatch the ball when Paulo Renato Marques made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Mororo's Vitório de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gláuber Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Vitório de Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mororo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The throw-in from Paulo Renato Marques in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kronos's Nilmar Campidelis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitório de Medeiros in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldinho Nóbrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Vitório de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gláuber Alves having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dias in the 92nd minute of play forced Kronos's goalkeeper Gláuber Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, António Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mororo's supporters rose to their feet, but António Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gláuber Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
