Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê de Sena in the 4th minute of play forced Gramado's goalkeeper Adrianinho Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Macedo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ilicinea's Luiz Paulo Tasso got a free kick in the 9th minute. It was beautiful to see Gramado's José Maria Barreto in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Dedê de Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrianinho Macedo having to make a save. Dedê de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toninho Camargo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Adrianinho Macedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th match minute, Gramado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Dedê de Sena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrianinho Macedo. Dedê de Sena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Toninho Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrianinho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luiz Fabiano Simões fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gramado's protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Simões a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gramado getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedê de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Dedê de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gramado's Adrianinho Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrianinho Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Camargo scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrianinho Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gramado's zone, Dedê de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Macedo came out of the goal and Dedê de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hudson Mandrak's late challenge caught a Gramado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hudson Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. Hudson Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Dedê de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Gramado got a freekick which was hit by Antônio da Silveira. Toninho Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
