Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Betão Guerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Alan Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neris SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Almeida during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frederico Almeida hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sidney Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 12 minutes, Alan Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neris SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Aleandro Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neris SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleandro Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Cléberson Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleandro Cabral in the 31st minute of the match. Alan Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itacira SS's Sidney Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleandro Cabral in the 35th minute of play. Sidney Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleandro Cabral in the 36th minute of play. Agenor Maranhense hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ulisses Meira scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardinho do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44thth minute of the game Aleandro Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itacira SS's Sidney Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ulisses Meira came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Itacira SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Meira couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleandro Cabral to make the kick off. If Aleandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neris SS reached it. The supporters of Neris SS booed when Itacira SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agenor Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidney Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Itacira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Batista came free, but Sidney Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Nascimento came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Neris SS's Carlos Alberto Mazza. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Ulisses Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itacira SS's zone, Alan Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Nascimento came out of the goal and Alan Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aleandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleandro Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Itacira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Agenor Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Neris SS had won after a very even match.
