Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Walmyr Cardoso made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Black White Stars's zone, Emerson de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldinho Paulista came out of the goal and Emerson de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Augusto Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Augusto Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Abadiania EC booed when Black White Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson de Salles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Osvaldinho Paulista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Augusto Paraíba hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Osvaldinho Paulista made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Emerson de Salles sent off a good shot on target. Emerson de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fábio Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Aloísio Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Black White Stars got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Koehler. Walmyr Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Osvaldinho Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emerson de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Emerson de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abadiania EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmyr Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Paulista having to interfere. When Abadiania EC's Emerson de Salles in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black White Stars's goalie prevented a goal. Silvinho Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black White Stars's Maicon Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Willian Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Veloso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvinho Eger. That made the score 0-1 in the 77 minute of play. Emerson de Salles spun around in front of the goal 83 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Black White Stars's goal. 85 minutes into the match, Black White Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Cardoso came free, but Osvaldinho Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Abadiania EC's Walmyr Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldinho Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Walmyr Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Paulista having to interfere. Black White Stars succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Abadiania EC had controlled the match.
