In the 16th minute, Dagoberto de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Doni Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Nilton Valladares. Skyller FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nilton Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Xavier in the 25th minute of the match. Fortaleza Esporte Clube's Cássio Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Fortaleza Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Dagoberto de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ronaldo Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Skyller FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Sergipano couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 46 in the game by Ronaldo Sergipano from a close distance when the talented Cássio Maia managed to make a qualified save. Fortaleza Esporte Clube's players were relieved. In the 48th minute of the match Válter Hermes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilton Valladares skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. Skyller FC's Ronaldo Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doni Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Elias Silveira sped through Fortaleza Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio Maia.
