Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Linus Kjellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simonaio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Kjellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo José Vinhas, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. José Carlos Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Dorian Valadares sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th match minute, Simonaio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Dorian Valadares in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Carlos Rodrigues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Simonaio FC's Faustino Camino got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Tião Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Negri in the 25th minute of play forced Dionisio's goalkeeper Tomé Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aluísio Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aluísio Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Paraense having to interfere. Dorian Valadares's late challenge caught a Simonaio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorian Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Simonaio FC booed when Dionisio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emerson Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião Negri during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Dionisio's Dorian Valadares in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simonaio FC's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dorian Valadares made the kick off in the second half. José Carlos Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Dorian Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Simonaio FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Baltazar Secco hit a great ball. If Aírton Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Dionisio's Tomé Paraense got control of the ball when Tião Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Carlos Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Valadares's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aluísio Coutinho in the 77th minute of play forced Dionisio's goalkeeper Tomé Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Carlos Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Valadares's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Tomé Paraense came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Simonaio FC's Tião Negri. But to his dismay, Tião Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dorian Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Dionisio lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
