Anselmo Pirola's late challenge caught a Calabaca AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Pirola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Felixlandia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Pirola to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Faria in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Calabaca AD's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Ferraz came free, but Vânderson Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dênis Faria took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vânderson Souto. Vânderson Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vânderson Souto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Felixlandia AD's Elder Vides shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Elder Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falcão Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Falcão Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. César Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Elder Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Dênis Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Felixlandia AD and the Calabaca AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Dênis Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonin Dumay struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Vânderson Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felixlandia AD. After 38 minutes, Dênis Faria made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Calabaca AD's Vânderson Souto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Felixlandia AD's Elder Vides dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elder Vides made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Calabaca AD's zone, Dênis Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Souto came out of the goal and Dênis Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Vides in the 53rd minute of play forced Calabaca AD's goalkeeper Vânderson Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis Faria struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Vânderson Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felixlandia AD. The supporters of Felixlandia AD booed when Calabaca AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felixlandia AD's César Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Felixlandia AD from getting a goal against them. Dênis Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vânderson Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vânderson Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Faria got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vânderson Souto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Elder Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felixlandia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Elder Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Dênis Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Calabaca AD got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Carneiro. Felixlandia AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
