Arthur Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Cavalcante having to interfere. Natã Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Descalvado SC's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Cunha came free, but Falcão Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Cavalcante having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Aníbal Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Campidelis having to make a save. Falcão Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Cunha in the 33rd minute of play. Enrique Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Cardoso went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Júlio Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enrique Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Cardoso in the 40th minute of the match. Arthur Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aníbal Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Descalvado SC's Falcão Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Motta in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mirary's zone, Benedito Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Campidelis came out of the goal and Benedito Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mirary's Enrique Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mirary from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Descalvado SC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Genílson Borges hit a great ball. If Júlio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Júlio Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirary's Enrique Campidelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Descalvado SC's Nicolas Palmeira got a free kick in the 75th minute. Falcão Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Natã Vieira in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Campidelis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aníbal Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Cavalcante having to interfere. If Natã Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Orlando Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Júlio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
