Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aníbal Cunha started the match with the kick off. Enrique Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Negri's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Zacarias Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rondonas the free kick. After 7 played minutes Mirary got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Alves. If Norberto Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 11 played minutes Mirary got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Bueno. Raúl Vasconcelos, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 17th minute Aníbal Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Cunha in the 19th minute of play forced Rondonas's goalkeeper Cido Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Norberto Negri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Campidelis. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 31st minute, Orlando Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Arthur Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Rondonas got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Gomes. In the 38th minute, Norberto Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rondonas's zone, Aníbal Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Vinhas came out of the goal and Aníbal Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aníbal Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauã Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Arthur Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Fiori Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rondonas's Kauã Faria in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mirary's goalie prevented a goal. Kauã Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mirary's zone, Norberto Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Campidelis came out of the goal and Norberto Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kauã Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã Faria in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Campidelis saved Mirary from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Mirary's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Faria came free, but Enrique Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kauã Faria came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rondonas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Faria couldn't finish the play. If Aníbal Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aníbal Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
