Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Diogo Paranaense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. David Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Prestes in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Diogo Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Pelajegue - RO's Nando Leite got control of the ball when Gilberto Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enéas Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Silva having to interfere. David Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubens Pombal went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. David Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Paraíba in the 21st minute of the match. Enéas Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Pombal in the 28th minute of play forced Caverna do Troll's goalkeeper David Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enéas Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enéas Paraíba in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Silva saved Caverna do Troll from getting behind. The supporters of Caverna do Troll booed when Pelajegue - RO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes Caverna do Troll got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Veloso. 46 minutes into the match, Caverna do Troll's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Pombal came free, but David Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Rubens Pombal made a precise shot to the right of David Silva. Caverna do Troll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Pelajegue - RO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubens Pombal made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zézinho Prestes during the 59th minute. Pelajegue - RO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caverna do Troll the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pelajegue - RO's Rubens Pombal got a free kick in the 75th minute. Enéas Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enéas Paraíba ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 minutes of play, Pelajegue - RO's Enéas Paraíba made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caverna do Troll's David Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Prestes in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Caverna do Troll's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Pombal came free, but David Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Leite came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Caverna do Troll's Diogo Paranaense. But to his dismay, Diogo Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 96th minute of the match Osvaldinho Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nando Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacinto Ceresso was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Caverna do Troll fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pelajegue - RO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
