Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomás Gerber took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thomás Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Bruninho Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Pontes in the 15th minute of play. Estreito FC's Armando Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Estreito FC from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Mendes having to interfere. A collision led to Estreito FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tiago Brito hit a great ball. Emanuel Veloso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Armando Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Pontes in the 33rd minute of play. If Flávio Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robinho Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Corinthians Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho Pontes couldn't finish the play. Tales Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Gerber in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robinho Pontes was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Tróia during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomás Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Mota having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Bruninho Saldanha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estreito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thomás Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Bruninho Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estreito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Estreito FC's Thomás Gerber in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corinthians Paulista's goalie prevented a goal. If Bruninho Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians Paulista's zone, Bruninho Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Mota came out of the goal and Bruninho Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robinho Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruninho Saldanha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tales Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Bruninho Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tales Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Luís Fabiano Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estreito FC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Corinthians Paulista's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ezequiel Gomes took the corner. Estreito FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
