During the 92nd minute of the match Dedê Gaúcho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dedê Gaúcho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruy do Valle during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antônio Severo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovanni Recife. Urycuca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Urycuca played a much better game than Tucunduba EC and deserved their victory. The Tucunduba EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
