Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Simões in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jairo Simões struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Isaltino Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaramiranga. In the 19thth minute of the game Jairo Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murutuba SC's Isaltino Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Guaramiranga's Jairo Simões made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murutuba SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Enrique Arantes's late challenge caught a Guaramiranga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Enrique Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
