After 59 played minutes Elói Bittencourt rounded Varzeao EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 76th minute, Luisão Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 played minutes Varzeao EC got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Goiano. In the 80th minute, Luisão Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Dito Fonseca. Varzeao EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Kjell Stenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júnior Carneiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dito Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Simões went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Elói Bittencourt took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Dito Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute, Jairo Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaramiranga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
