The supporters of Kairos Esporte Clube booed when Socanelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Benedito Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niels Walhöfer was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Rodrigo Pinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Pinho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Zbydniowski in the 28th minute of play forced Kairos Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Jefferson Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Socanelas FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Armando Palmeira hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Ediberto Maranhense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Eger skillfully saved the ball. Michal Zbydniowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jefferson Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michal Zbydniowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jefferson Eger having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Pinho made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Pinho in the 52nd minute of play forced Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Niels Walhöfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57th play minutes Michal Zbydniowski shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Jefferson Eger and just under the crossbar into goal. Jefferson Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Zbydniowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Niels Walhöfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wágner Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Rodrigo Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niels Walhöfer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Michal Zbydniowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jefferson Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Róbson Cordeiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Wágner Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
