Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Bujari SS's André Luís Barral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bujari SS's César Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bujari SS's Christian Torres got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bujari SS's zone, João Augusto Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor das Neves came out of the goal and João Augusto Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bujari SS's Vitório Trancoso got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 16 played minutes Bujari SS got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Trancoso. Rubens Rosa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Abreu in the 25th minute of play forced Quatiguaua's goalkeeper Jarbas Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Rubens Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quatiguaua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bujari SS the free kick. Jarbas Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jarbas Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game André Luís Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quatiguaua's Jarbas Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, one of Bujari SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 48 minutes Quatiguaua's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dênis Schmidt who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubens Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Quatiguaua's goal looked a bit too open when César Abreu came free, but Jarbas Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni de Lima took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Vander. Jarbas Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Doni de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Quatiguaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Doni de Limas short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Jarbas Vander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 81st minute Daniel Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Barral in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas Vander saved Quatiguaua from getting behind. André Luís Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, César Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Luís Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The Quatiguaua fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bujari SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
