Rucas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bujari SS the free kick. The supporters of Bujari SS booed when Rucas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Schmidt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yuri Meireles. Rucas EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bujari SS's Vitório Trancoso got a free kick in the 21st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Nestor das Neves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nestor das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Terra in the 23rd minute of play. Nestor das Neves made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tiaguinho Terra sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Vitório Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 33 minutes on the clock, Ernani Seco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Yuri Meireles came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Bujari SS's Dênis Schmidt. But to his dismay, Dênis Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tiaguinho Terra made the kick off in the second half. If Tiaguinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Vitório Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bujari SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiaguinho Terra's late challenge caught a Bujari SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Terra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Tiaguinho Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Elano Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor das Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bujari SS's Nestor das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Terra in the 71st minute of play. Rucas EC's Yuri Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Rucas EC from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Rucas EC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Melo. The supporters of Bujari SS booed when Rucas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bujari SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
