After a rather tough play, Carauari's Gualter do Nascimento got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Carauari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Rocha to maneuver through the defense. If Luiz Fabiano da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fabiano da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Quintal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romário Ortiz came out of the goal and José Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. Naxotinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carauari the free kick.
