In the 23rd minute, Simão Sena had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 23 minutes into the game, one of Periseiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Luís Fabiano Braga, was totally fooled by Lamarao's Agnaldo Veloso, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Miguel Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Guilherme Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. Lamarao's Luiz Guilherme Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Alagoano in the 30th minute of play. Miguel Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luiz Guilherme Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Periseiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Alagoano in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lamarao.
