Eliézer Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Antunes having to interfere. Campeste's Juarês Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Campeste from getting a goal against them. Tadeu Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fred Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bullet Club's Tiago Gabriel Paraibano got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Tadeu Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliézer Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bullet Club's Elano Velasco got a free kick in the 41st minute. Claudinho Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Simão was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Alessandro Xavier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Antunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Moura in the 56th minute of play forced Bullet Club's goalkeeper Fred Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hernani Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Mendes in the 67th minute of play. Fred Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Moura in the 80th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Bullet Club were awarded a corner. Beto Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Beto Valle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juarês Pitta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Campeste's Tadeu Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
