Knup Fc's Marek Puchlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Vander in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Daniel Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Puchlik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Vander in the 20th minute of play forced Knup Fc's goalkeeper Marek Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredinho Meirelles made a kick off. After some careless play in the Knup Fc defense, Adriano Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Puchlik. The Knup Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Puchlik should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Mesquita's Daniel Amorim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marek Puchlik. Marek Puchlik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Daniel Amorim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Mesquita's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 75th match minute, Knup Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Knup Fc's Marek Puchlik got control of the ball when Adriano Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lino Leme took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Marek Puchlik to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Vander got free with Marek Puchlik in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Mazza hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Leme in the 91st minute of play forced Knup Fc's goalkeeper Marek Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Puchlik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Amorim's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The Mesquita supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mesquita would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
