Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Arenari FC's Moisés Vidal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camirim's Elano Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Barbosa in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vicente Arenari FC's Jarbas Esteves got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes, Vicente Arenari FC's Manoel Salgado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elano Pombal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vicente Arenari FC reached it. The nice shot from Tião Melo in the 14thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Doriva Vidal had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Jarbas Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Vidal having to interfere. Elano Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Barbosa in the 26th minute of play. Camirim's Tião Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Paes's late challenge caught a Camirim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Paes helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Décio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Elano Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Décio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Tião Melo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vicente Arenari FC's Doriva Vidal. Doriva Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tião Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tião Melo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doriva Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Melo in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Tião Melo made a precise shot to the right of Doriva Vidal. Vicente Arenari FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Elano Pombal made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cido Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. Doriva Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Yuri Dantas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elano Pombal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tião Melo succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. After a rather tough play, Vicente Arenari FC's Cido Barbosa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Doriva Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tião Melo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Tião Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doriva Vidal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tião Melo ran back to his position shaking his head.
