Zé Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Guerra having to interfere. Zé Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Pires struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Guilherme Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerencia. Vinícius Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Antunes took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Guerra. Guilherme Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luiz Fernando Miranda in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Túlio Travassos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zé Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Bastos to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Zé Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jao SC's Guilherme Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Luiz Fernando Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Pires was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Gerencia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Túlio Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Miranda's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Guilherme Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Zé Antunes took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Guilherme Guerra to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Miranda in the 81st minute of play forced Gerencia's goalkeeper Túlio Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Pires struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Guilherme Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerencia. Jao SC's Guilherme Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Jao SC from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Jao SC got a freekick which was hit by Kiko do Vale.
