Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Antunes kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Gerencia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Enéas Peixoto hit a great ball. With a little luck, VASCO E.C's Wilian Arce got control of the ball when Tony Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gerencia's Zé Antunes in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wilian Arce guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Wilian Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Antunes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilian Arce. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Wilian Arce was a little too slow when Tony Pires got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. Elói Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes VASCO E.C got a freekick which was hit by Serafim de Lara. Wilian Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilian Arce didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Furlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, VASCO E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Pinho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Antunes in the 53rd minute of play forced VASCO E.C's goalkeeper Wilian Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Antunes's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Marcos Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Tony Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gerencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 60th minute Zé Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tony Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilian Arce having to make a save. When Gerencia's Zé Antunes in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VASCO E.C's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Gerencia's Tony Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilian Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tony Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Zé Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilian Arce was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. 96 minutes into the match, Gerencia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Furlan came free, but Túlio Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Gerencia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
