Ezequiel Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Brodel in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Collina EC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jardel Lopes hit a great ball. Ezequiel Brasil came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Carioca's Jeferson Brodel. But to his dismay, Jeferson Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Erasmo Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Carioca's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clóvis Lira lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Clóvis Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Jeferson Brodel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Carioca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Rodolfo Munhoz in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ezequiel Brasil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jeferson Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Brasil made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson Brodel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeferson Brodel scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Eliseu de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeferson Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ezequiel Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jeferson Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Brasil was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
